About this Role and the People Team

The People Operations team’s goal is operational excellence, and they are responsible for continuous improvements and optimization by designing processes and policies that benefit our People worldwide. Reporting to the People Operations Lead, we have a fixed-term opportunity for an experienced People Partner or Operations Partner to play a critical role in the development and rollout of some exciting projects across our global workforce.

Your Responsibilities

You will need to support the People Operations Lead and work closely with the People Operations Specialist as well as People Data and divisional People teams to manage and run various project-led initiatives. You will need to build relationships with key stakeholders across the global business, relying on your strong organisation, communication, and prioritisation skills to be successful.

  • Support with the annual review and rollout of our People policies worldwide, utilising your sound employment law knowledge to make informed decisions.
  • Drive the development and implementation of key People processes worldwide, with a particular focus on compliance.
  • Support the Divisional or Shared Services People teams with operational requirements including pre-hire compliance, contractual terms of employment, employee handbooks, changes during employment, and termination of working relationships.
  • Consistently seek out opportunities for improvement as well as areas of risk, and pro-actively identify solutions which you will then go on to implement alongside the wider People Operations team.
  • Work closely with our Employer Branding team to drive our internal engagement surveys as well as overall employee benefit and experience packages.
  • Oversee our global Performance & Pay review process.
  • Coordinate the annual People Team Town Hall.
  • Analyse and share People data trends and key insights.
  • Support and lead on other ad hoc projects as assigned by the People Operations Lead.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider People teams to support in best practice for People Operations.
  • Continuously strive for excellence and consistency across the global business, ensuring the best possible employee experience for everyone at THG

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role, either within a People Generalist or Operational environment.
  • Solutions orientated, organised, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage priorities and deadlines in a highly project-lead working environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • High professional standards that do not falter under pressure.
  • Proactive worker, able to use their own initiative to identify areas for improvement.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
