Media Sales Manager - City AM, London

City AM is part of The Hut Group a fast-moving, global technology business that specialises in taking brands direct to consumers. City AM is located in the heart of The City of London, focused on providing business and financial content across our Website, App, Newsletter, Magazine, Newspaper and Social platforms. Launched in 2005, we cover the latest economic, political and business news as well as comment, sport and lifestyle features.

We are looking for an ambitious, confident Sales Manager to drive the next stage of growth with existing and new clients.  

This role is 100% client-facing, proactively managing and cultivating key industry / client relationships to achieve and exceed group targets.

You will be responsible for engaging with clients within our key markets - Banking & Financial Services, Luxury, Hospitality & Retail  

 

What You Will Do

  • Identify new sales opportunities and City A.M customers across multiple products, including print, digital, app, video, event and content solutions
    Source and develop your own leads across diverse categories and sectors
  • Build a pipeline of business across the whole City AM portfolio
  • Own and execute customer communications via telephone, social media, email, in person, in line with standards and processes
  • Develop and elevate client relationships at all business levels
  • Partner with technical and account management teams
  • Deliver high levels of customer relationship management, satisfaction and interaction
  • Report on the status of sales processes regarding both existing and potential customers
  • Follow sales processes efficiently

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience within the Media Sales Landscape
  • Previous, demonstratable sales experience 
  • Comfortable building relationships with clients and creating value-driven proposals across multiple channels
  • Strong influencer with exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to network and build senior client relationships
  • Motivated self starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • Understanding of how to sell multi platform creative solutions direct to clients at a senior level
