Ingenuity Finance team plays an integral part in the success of THG and provides support to the senior management team to ensure all operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for Ingenuity’s short term, high frequency forecasting process to provide real time insight into business performance
  • Providing support on the annual budgeting and corporate planning cycles
  • Development and expansion of internal reporting packs, increasing insight and analytics
  • Support regular reporting on key metrics to senior management and the Board
  • Working with senior stakeholders
  • Working with commercial finance teams in complex, high volume data modelling around key business decision making (Website launches, regional strategies, pricing etc.)

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant – Newly qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) – ideal for a first time mover from practice
  • Qualified Accountant with 3+ years post qualified experience
  • Previous experience within a Financial Planning and Analysis role
  • Understanding the principles of accounting and auditing, demonstrating a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work autonomously, initiate and deliver change; have a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills as this will involve dealing with a wide range of stakeholders across the business
  • An individual who is keen to build strong networks
  • Understanding of financial controls framework, and process best practice
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment,
  • Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines,
  • A confident mindset, comfortable in dealing with a wide range of key stakeholders.
