About the Role

As an EHS Advisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving Health, Safety and Environmental standards across the site. You’ll provide practical guidance, conduct safety inspections and risk assessments, investigate incidents, deliver H&S training and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and corporate standards. Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll also support environmental and waste management activities, including BDO reporting, while helping drive improvements in safety, ergonomics and operational efficiency.

As an EHS Advisor you will be:

  • Performing duties arising from legal requirements in the field of Health and Safety;
  • Developing and implementing Health and Safety and Environmental standards in line with national legislation and corporate standards;
  • Conducting daily safety inspections and reporting identified non-conformities and areas requiring action;
  • Investigating the circumstances and causes of occupational accidents, preparing preventive recommendations, and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
  • Participating in the preparation, updating and verification of occupational risk assessments;
  • Conducting initial H&S training for employees, including general induction training;
  • Managing personal protective equipment;
  • Actively participating in projects aimed at improving safety, ergonomics and process efficiency;
  • Maintaining documentation and preparing reports related to environmental and waste management;
  • Maintaining waste records in the BDO system;
  • Cooperating with supervisory authorities and external institutions on H&S and environmental matters.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • University degree in Occupational Health and Safety or postgraduate studies in the field of H&S;
  • Professional experience working in an occupational Health and Safety service, experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage;
  • Practical knowledge of H&S and environmental protection legislation;
  • Knowledge of the BDO system for maintaining waste records;
  • Very good command of Polish and English;
  • Strong communication and change management skills;
  • Ability to respond quickly and solve problems;
  • Good organisational skills, communication skills and independence;
  • Reliability and attention to detail in the performance of assigned duties.
