Myprotein, the leading online sports nutrition brand, is launching its products in Walmart stores for the first time. Starting on Friday 8th August, a curated range of Myprotein products will be available on shelves across the United States.
THG Nutrition began selling Myprotein products on Walmart.com in August 2024 via the retailer’s third-party marketplace platform, but this marks the first time Walmart will stock Myprotein products directly in its physical stores.
This significant expansion of the retail partnership with Walmart marks a further step in the brand’s rapid international expansion, cementing Myprotein’s position as a global leader in sports nutrition.
The launch spans three of Myprotein’s fastest growing categories, with products including Clear Whey in Lemonade and Dragonfruit flavours, Protein Wafers in both chocolate and vanilla as well as our leading Creatine (Creapure) powder.
The range will be available in Walmart stores nationwide, providing customers with affordable, great-tasting, high-quality protein products for muscle recovery and strength.
The move follows a period of accelerated growth for Myprotein, with products now available in over 34,000 stores worldwide, primarily in the UK, US and Japan. By the end of 2025, THG expects Myprotein products to be stocked in more than 40,000 stores globally, with the US offline footprint set to nearly quintuple this year, driven by new listings in Walmart, CVS, and expanded presence in GNC stores.
Commenting on the launch, Neil Mistry, CEO, THG Nutrition said:
“We’ve seen a meaningful shift in how supplements are being embraced-not just by gym-goers, but by a much broader audience looking to support their health and active lifestyles. As a result, demand for accessible, high-quality protein products continues to rise. This partnership with Walmart marks a significant step in our offline retail strategy, and I’m proud to see us accelerating our international expansion with such a trusted partner.”
To mark the brand’s expanding retail footprint, Myprotein is launching a US summer marketing campaign spanning digital channels, pay-per-click (PPC), social media, and out-of-home (OOH) advertising. The campaign will spotlight Myprotein’s growing US presence in retail and D2C across sports nutrition, health and wellness.
