About the Warehouse & Logistics Team
The Warehouse & Logistics team plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations, inventory management, material flow, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities across the business. This team is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, material traceability, and timely movement of goods while supporting GMP compliance and customer expectations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

About the Warehouse & Logistics Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead and optimize all warehouse operations within a fast-paced cosmetic and OTC manufacturing environment. This role owns inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving performance, and overall warehouse efficiency, with a strong focus on process improvement, accountability, and scalable systems.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build structure, improve workflows, and deliver consistent, measurable results while driving operational excellence across warehouse and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities 
Operational Responsibilities
• Lead all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and material movement 
• Establish and enforce standardized warehouse processes to ensure operational accuracy, efficiency, and consistency 
• Maintain an organized, scalable warehouse environment that supports manufacturing and fulfillment operations 
• Own inventory accuracy across packaging components, raw materials, and finished goods 
• Manage cycle count programs and inventory reconciliation activities 
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions 
• Ensure proper stock rotation practices including FIFO and FEFO compliance and material traceability 
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods 
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and supporting documentation 
• Manage carrier relationships and support shipping optimization initiatives related to service and cost efficiency

Leadership Responsibilities
• Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel 
• Establish clear expectations related to productivity, accuracy, accountability, and operational performance 
• Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement 
• Drive operational performance through accountability, communication, and leadership presence on the warehouse floor 
• Support workforce planning and operational resource allocation to meet business demands

Compliance & GMP Responsibilities 
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with GMP, safety, quality, and operational standards 
• Support proper material handling, storage practices, inventory traceability, and documentation control 
• Ensure compliance with stock rotation requirements including FIFO and FEFO methodologies 
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards that support manufacturing and audit readiness 
• Support safe work practices and adherence to company safety policies and procedures

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Customer Service, and Operations teams to support production and fulfillment goals 
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and external logistics partners to ensure operational continuity and timely deliveries 
• Support operational improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse flow, inventory accuracy, and customer service performance 
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve inventory, logistics, and fulfillment-related issues efficiently and effectively

Reporting & Systems
• Utilize ERP and WMS systems to support inventory management, reporting, and operational tracking 
• Develop, monitor, and report on warehouse KPIs related to inventory accuracy, fulfillment performance, productivity, and operational efficiency 
• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping documentation, and warehouse reporting metrics 
• Evaluate current workflows and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce errors, and improve operational visibility

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role includes maintaining high inventory accuracy, ensuring timely and error-free order fulfilment, and creating organized, efficient, and scalable warehouse operations that support manufacturing and customer demands. Strong performance is demonstrated through measurable improvements in productivity, workflow efficiency, cost control, inventory management, and overall operational performance. The successful candidate will proactively identify opportunities for improvement, build sustainable systems and processes, and lead teams with accountability, consistency, and operational discipline.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management
• Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred, ideally within cosmetics, OTC, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing industries 
• Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency 
• Strong leadership experience managing teams and driving operational performance 
• Experience with ERP and WMS systems and inventory control processes 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to balance strategic process improvements with hands-on operational execution 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within GMP-regulated manufacturing environments 
• Experience implementing warehouse process improvements and operational KPIs 
• Familiarity with inventory traceability and material control requirements 
• Experience managing shipping carriers and logistics optimization initiatives

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, qualifications, and internal budget considerations.
