  • Drive improvements in right-first-time, reducing waste and rework.
  • Escalate quality issues in a timely and structured manner.
  1. People Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–15 operators.
  • Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.

  1. Equipment & Process Performance
  • Work closely with engineering support to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Support delivery of basic asset care and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Identify and respond to downtime issues, escalating where required.
  • Drive adherence to standard operating procedures and process consistency.
  1. Cost Control & Efficiency
  • Support effective management of labour and materials within the shift.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure performance improvements do not compromise safety or quality.
  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement practical, shift-level improvements to enhance performance.
  • Support wider site improvement initiatives led by the Site Manager or central teams.
  • Encourage problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset within the team.
  1. Communication & Reporting
  • Provide clear handovers between shifts, ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Report shift performance, issues, and risks to the Site Manager.
  • Ensure effective communication across functions (Quality, Engineering, Planning).
