Why be a Sales Executive at THG Beauty?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive, working with a range of 8-10 customer brands on a strategic and tactical level to deliver sustained territory sales growth of over 10% each year. The position reports to the Director, Sales and will join a 4 person direct sales team that covers customers across the country.
As a Sales Executive, you’ll:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, using proactive, consistent communication that inspires clients to make Bentley their partner of choice.
- Leverage product knowledge and a strong understanding of consumer trends to help clients identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Guide brand partners in developing products that take full advantage of Bentley’s capabilities, ensuring their launches stay competitive and ahead of market trends.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop technical marketing and trend presentations for clients, attending tradeshows and customer/industry events. Create, manage, and convert customer product development projects and briefs for new launches which is a key element to fuel sales growth.
- Actively work with customers and internal personnel in a professional and positive manner to resolve issues and advance the reputation of Bentley as a highly responsive, customer-focused, technology and service solution provider.
- Work with the Sales Director and Business Development Manager to convert new prospective customer opportunities into tangible new projects and future sales.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
Our customer base is a collection of strong marketing and technology brands and we gain business through delivering new products and launches that meet market trends and deliver improvements to consumer skin health, while flawlessly managing current products in their portfolio. A candidate having educational and sales experience that brings a combination of technical, manufacturing and business acumen to the role is desired. The candidate should have the following:
- BS/BA (technology area preferred i.e. engineering, chemistry, biology)
- Proven success in companies with both product development & manufacturing
- 2-5 years of field sales experience
- Track record of delivering sustained sales growth
- Fully developed competencies in:
- Customer and Internal Team relationship development
- Cross functional team collaboration
- Strength in these competencies:

- Results driven
- Creative problem solving
- Excel skills for sales data analysis

Expectations and Outcomes
Expectations: Through on-board training and personal initiative and development, the Sales Executive is expected to achieve success in this role by developing a thorough understanding of:
- Bentley’s long-term strategy, objectives and goals
- The Sales and R&D personnel and capabilities, ensuring they meet the requirements of our strategy and customer needs
- Existing territory of customers, including their market strategies and distribution channels, top products, base formulas
- Existing R&D development processes and database systems, process technologies we employ in the company’s bulk manufacturing and filling areas; while remaining current as advances are made in these areas
- Complete understanding of the pipeline of projects in R&D and historical results of approvals, launches, value generation, longevity of new products for assigned customers
Outcomes: The expected outcomes and measures of performance are:
- Meet or exceed sales growth KPIs set by management while maintaining or improving profitability
- Strong customer relationships leading to retention and expanded sales
- Building exceptional relationships with Bentley Management, Sales, R&D and Operations team members
- Enhancing Bentley’s reputation as an outstanding technology-based supplier
