The Director of International Sales is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for owning and accelerating Perricone MD’s business across all markets outside the United States. Based in our NYC office, you will centralize accountability for global distributor markets and UK off-price sales, transitioning the brand from a fragmented model to a high-growth, US-led international powerhouse. You will manage international as a material P&L contributor, with a relentless focus on revenue, margin, and in-market execution.

As the primary architect of our global expansion, you will lead a UK-based Distributor Manager and work cross-functionally to ensure Perricone MD remains the premier clinical skincare authority in every territory, from EMEA to APAC.

 

As Director, International Sales, you’ll:  

International Commercial Ownership

  • Drive annual planning, forecasting, and the execution of a 3-year international growth roadmap to hit revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Lead distributor partnerships across EMEA, APAC, and the Middle East, acting as the primary commercial voice for the brand.
  • Own the global pricing architecture and trading terms to protect brand equity and ensure healthy margin delivery.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to optimize inventory availability and maintain healthy stock turns.

Distributor & Partner Leadership

  • Lead and optimize existing distributor relationships, setting clear KPI expectations for assortment, launch execution, and marketing compliance.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to identify wins and troubleshoot underperforming markets.
  • Negotiate contracts, renewals, and corrective action plans; implement turnaround strategies where performance lags behind expectations.
  • Audit in-market execution standards, ensuring all partners adhere to global brand guidelines for assets, merchandising, and claims discipline.

New Business Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure high-potential distributor partnerships in strategic new markets.
  • Lead market entry strategies, including partner due diligence, commercial modeling, and contract structuring.
  • Build a scalable multi-year pipeline of new opportunities to diversify geographic risk and expand the brand’s global footprint.

UK Off-Price & Trade Marketing

  • Directly manage the UK off-price strategy, defining discount architecture and guardrails to protect full-price brand positioning.
  • Define international trade marketing priorities aligned with the global campaign calendar and retail execution standards.
  • Establish minimum education requirements by market (product knowledge, protocols, and claims) and monitor completion to drive sell-through improvements.
  • Coordinate product flow and inventory drawdown plans to minimize disruption to core launch priorities.

 

What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • 5+ years Industry experience: Senior leadership in international sales within prestige beauty and/or clinical skincare.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-market distributor networks (LATAM, EMEA, APAC) and winning new partnerships to open strategic territories.
  • Advanced financial fluency with deep expertise in forecasting, margin analysis, deal economics, and full P&L ownership.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills regarding commercial terms, international contracts, and performance remediation.
  • Ability to drive trade marketing and education through third-party partners without the need for dedicated internal headcount.
