Team Leader

Role Description  

The Team Leader is an integral part of the leadership team in supporting the general running of the store, and will step up to support the Store Manager in the Assistant Store Managers absence. Keeping exceptional customer experience at the forefront of everything, the Team Leader will lead and motivate the team to drive service, sales and experience. The Senior Brand Ambassador will support the management team in team education and communication. 

 

Service 

• Ensure the store delivers a best in class level of customer service by delivering a personalised service to all customers. 
• Build customer relationships using CRM to ensure all customers receive a tailored shopping experience. 
• Create a warm and welcome environment for all customers with a seamless customer journey from the initial welcome to the end of the transaction.  
• Resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner and ensure customer satisfaction is always at the top of your priority list. 

Sales 

• Drive the team to achieve set retail financial goals and KPI’s.  
• Drive sales through the seamless customer journey and experience and deliver personal targets and KPI goals.  
• Support and take part in events, internally and externally.  

People 

• Lead by example on the shop floor at all times.  
• Will act as the stores Duty Manager as required and lead the team, service and sales. 
• Engage and inspire the in store team daily to deliver world class service.  
• Assists management in HR matters.  

Operational Excellence  

• Adhere to all procedures and H&S regulations.  
• Ensure perfect store standards including top hygiene standards in all areas. 
• Update and maintain VM of all brands. 
• Strong communication to the team, customers and all brand representatives.  
• Stock management including receiving POs into the EPOS system and liaising with HQ teams to adjust stock queries and report stock loss.  
• Assists management of LP to minimise shrinkage. 

Experience/Skills:  

• Experience of leadership/senior sales preferred, but not essential.  
• Retail experience essential. 
• Highly organised.  
• Strong communication skills. 
• Full availability including weekends and bank holidays is imperative.
