Why be a Senior Supply Chain Manager at THG Beauty? 

Reporting to the Site Director (Operations), the Senior Supply Manager is accountable and responsible for the Supply Team.

Providing strategic leadership and overseeing the end-to-end Supply Chain operations and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, materials, and information, while also managing risk, building supplier/customer relationships, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you’ll:  

  • Lead and develop the Supply Team, providing support and guidance.
  • Implement a “one account” process that can be utilised across the Supply Team ensuring business continuity and working in the most efficient and proactive manner.
  • Onboard and align new Customers to standard ways of working.
  • Accountable for the Supply Chain KPIs. Using the data to drive performance and manage as appropriate.
  • Accountable for managing Supply Chain risks and the report of to the Site Director.
  • Ensure automated reporting is utilised and consistent across the Team.
  • Accountable for delivering the revenue as per the management budget.
  • Developing and implementing Supply Chain strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, including identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, analysing inventory data (expired/expiring), and implementing strategies to minimise excess stock.
  • Optimising inventory turnover, implementing just-in-time (JIT) principles, and improving Supply Chain agility.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimisation, streamlining operations, and implementing best practices.
  • Utilising continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence within the Supply Chain.
  • Ensure the Supply Chain operates within OpEx budget.
  • Communicating effectively and positively with all teams, colleagues, and managers.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety for yourself and other persons who may be affected by your work
  • To cooperate with regards to all company health & safety measures, following H&S training when using equipment
  • Report to a person in authority any work situation which may represent a serious or imminent danger to health & safety or any shortcomings in the protection arrangements to health & safety. In respect of any hazards remember ‘see it, report it’
  • Helping to promote a positive working atmosphere within the company.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • Ability to manage priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Sage business system (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong leadership and ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify problems, and develop solutions proactively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
