About the Role

The planning team plays a pivotal role in supporting one of the largest sports nutrition brands globally, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment for supply chain professionals. With full coverage across all aspects of supply chain planning, the team fosters a strong collaborative ethic that encourages involvement in a wide variety of engaging and impactful projects. There is significant opportunity to take ownership of key processes and drive meaningful improvements, making it an ideal setting for those who are passionate about innovation and continuous development within a high-performing team.

This role will be responsible for executing the sales and operational plan across our network of manufacturing sites – including generating weekly production plans, reporting on plan attainment, material availability & production capacity highlighting risks to the wider business.

As a Production Planning Manager for Nutrition your responsibilities will be:

  • The team’s main KPI is to maximise product availability & customer orders OTIF through generating weekly production plans.
  • To work closely with factory management to review performance on a weekly basis.
  • To maintain and improve production efficiencies through detailed batch planning.
  • To provide feedback to the supply planning team regarding raw material requirements, forming part of the decision-making process for allocation of any raw material shortages.
  • To collaborate with Operations Planning, NPD Planning and Production Finance to meet mutual goals.
  • To form part of a continuous improvement agenda for processes affecting the supply chain team.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • Strong background in Production Planning within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry
  • Supply chain/commercial background desirable
  • Strong numerical and reporting skills applied in Excel, SQL desirable
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain attention to detail
  • Management experience
  • An understanding of ecommerce desirable
