Why be a Order to Cash Team Leader at THG?

Currently reporting into the Beauty Order to Cash Manager the primary responsibility of the Order to Cash Team Leader is to lead the THG Beauty Brands Division within the Credit team, supervise and organise individual’s day to day activities and monitor performances.

The Order to Cash Team Leader acts as a subject matter expert and point of reference for issues relating to the activities of the THG Brands Beauty Credit and Accounts Receivables Team and ensures processes are executed in line with the Group procedures and according to the internal and external audit requirements. 

Responsibility is to manage the flow of work through effective LEAN techniques, observing all key business controls to ensure all work completed under the remit is ‘right first time’ and to identify poor processes and offer/deliver workable solutions.

As an Order to Cash Team Leader in Beauty you will:

  • Organise, supervise and monitor the THG Beauty Brands Credit and Accounts Receivable Teams activities efficiently and effectively to ensure all Debt Reduction Targets, Cash Collection Targets, SLA’s and KPI’s are met
  • Provide expertise and act as first point of reference to resolve business critical issues
  • Deliver Cashflow Forecast on time on a 13-week advanced forecast basis
  • Act as coach for Team Members, and act as first point of escalation for resolving internal and external THG Beauty Brands Credit and AR issues
  • Manages incoming requests through work flow and schedules activities appropriately
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with External counterparts, Sales & Operational Teams, Insurance Brokers, internal customers and business partners
  • Strives to achieve best practice performance levels as per benchmarks agreed with the Beauty OTC Manager
  • Deliver Weekly Reporting of Aged Debt performance
  • Deliver Insurance cover requirements for your Divisions, working with the Beauty OTC Manager to ensure T&C’s of our Insurance Policy are met
  • Manage Month End Closure and re-opening effectively in line with the rest of the Group

Process Management and Improvement

  • In liaison with the Beauty OTC Manager, identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives
  • Organise periodic feedback sessions for the team
  • Evaluates new processes and ensures training material is produced for all team members,
  • Trains and develops each Team Member with the latest process updates
  • Document Key Processes

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • A high volume shared service environment would be desirable
  • Proven track record of high performance with Credit Control and Accounts Receivables experience
  • Instil a responsive ‘right first time’ approach
  • Experience in Managing a Trade Credit Risk Insurance Policy
  • Professional education or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English verbal and written
  • Relevant previous experience as a Team Leader
