Why be Head of Social & Influencer at THG Beauty?  

As Head of Social & Influencer at LOOKFANTASTIC you will be the driving force behind content creation, social and influencers.  

We want you to Influence beyond the Influencers. Responsible for shaping and executing LOOKFANTASTIC’s organic and paid social media strategy, influencer partnerships, and community engagement to build cultural relevance, brand equity, and commercial impact. 

You will lead the business’ presence across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging channels, growing reach, driving engagement, and converting a community into customers. This role is pivotal in positioning LOOKFANTASTIC as a beauty authority and trend leader, leveraging a blend of native content creation, talent partnerships, and platform innovation to speak authentically to our audiences.   

As a Head of Social & Influencer you will:  

Social Strategy & Execution 

  • Lead the end-to-end social media strategy across all organic and paid platforms, ensuring each channel has a clear role and direction.  
  • Develop a bold, relevant and native-first approach to storytelling, reacting to trends while balancing brand, product and category narratives.  
  • Oversee daily publishing calendars, content formats, and performance optimisation across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and emerging platforms.  
  • Partner closely with Content and Creative to develop thumb-stopping, mobile-first content that’s optimised for each platform and audience.  

Influencer & Talent Partnerships 

  • Own the influencer marketing strategy across tiers (mega, macro, micro, UGC creators), with a balance of always-on and campaign-led activity.  
  • Lead the LF Creator and Ambassador programmes, building long-term partnerships with brand-aligned talent.  
  • Oversee seeding, paid partnerships, content usage rights and ROI measurement.  
  • Build strategic relationships with agents, managers and platform reps to stay ahead of industry developments.  

Community Engagement & Social Listening 

  • Build a highly engaged, loyal community through proactive engagement, DMs, comments and reactive brand presence.  
  • Partner with PR and Events to activate social-led experiences, gifting and campaign moments.  
  • Use social listening tools to inform content, product and campaign decisions, feeding insight back into the wider marketing and trading teams.  

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing social and influencer team, with a test-and-learn, customer-first mindset.  
  • Work closely with Brand, Creative, Content, PR, Performance and Product to ensure cohesive storytelling and campaign execution.  
  • Act as the voice of the customer and cultural pulse within the business.

Success Measures (KPIs) 

  • Follower and engagement growth YoY across priority platforms  
  • Social-driven traffic, revenue, and assisted conversion uplift  
  • Influencer ROI (e.g. EMV, CPA, conversion) and content effectiveness  
  • UGC volume and usage across channels  
  • Community sentiment, retention, and share of voice in category  
  • Creator retention and brand alignment score  

 

What experience & skills do I need for this role?   

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in influencer, working with/for at least one large-scale brand (£100M+)  
  • Hands-on experience across influencer marketing, including talent management, negotiation and activation  
  • Understanding of paid social best practice and amplification of creator content  
  • Prior management of multi-million-pound budget, including tracking, re-forecasting and annual budget submissions  
  • Line management experience  
  • Experience managing/overseeing organic or paid social teams desirable
