About Finance at THG
Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands. As the business expands and takes on new challenges in the form of acquired businesses or new ventures, finance is there to support every step of the way, leading to dynamic and challenging roles – no two days are the same! About the Role
THG Nutrition’s growth story continues — but pace and precision are everything. To deliver sustainable performance at scale, we’re building a Finance team that’s as commercial as it is technical.
We’re looking for a candidate who combines financial control with business partnership — someone who can translate numbers into strategy, insight, and action.
This is not a back-office reporting role. You’ll sit at the heart of the Nutrition business, working across online brands, commercial teams, and senior leadership to drive trading performance, profitability, and growth.

As a Financial Controller for Myprotein you will:

Own performance: Deliver accurate, timely management reporting to inform fast, smart decisions. Understand the story behind the numbers — where we win, where we can do better, and what to do next.
Drive accountability: Partner with commercial teams to identify profit improvement opportunities, challenge assumptions, and track initiatives that deliver measurable results.
Lead month-end excellence: Ensure robust financial control and smooth, efficient month-end processes across the Nutrition division.
Shape insights, not just outputs: Use data to tell the story of performance — turning financial information into clear recommendations that drive trading and strategy.
Champion continuous improvement: Streamline processes, strengthen controls, and build scalable finance systems that support a high-growth global brand.
Develop talent: Support and coach team members to deliver against their objectives, building capability and confidence across the function.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience in management accounting and financial control — ideally in retail, FMCG, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link financial performance to strategic decisions
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large, complex data sets
- Detail-driven, analytical, and proactive — with a clear bias for action
- Able to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where pace and precision go hand-in-hand

- Month-end close processes running seamlessly, with accurate reporting delivered to tight deadlines
- Improved P&L visibility and actionable commercial insights driving profitability
- Strong business partnerships across commercial, trading, and operations teams
- Cost efficiencies and margin improvements identified and delivered
- Continuous improvement embedded — faster reporting, better analysis, tighter control
