Job Title: Site Manager – Sports Nutrition Manufacturing

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Site Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our sports nutrition manufacturing facility located in Kentucky. This critical role will oversee all site functions to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations while maintaining high standards of product quality and regulatory adherence. The Site Manager will report directly to the Manufacturing Director based in the UK, serving as the primary point of leadership for the US site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site operations, including production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, safety, and personnel management.
- Execute strategic and tactical plans in alignment with the global manufacturing vision and goals.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements including FDA, cGMP, OSHA, and environmental standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track site performance and drive operational improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with corporate teams in the UK and globally, including supply chain, R&D, and quality, to support product launches and production schedules.
- Oversee site budgeting, cost control, and resource planning to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the local lead for audits, inspections, and external stakeholder engagement, representing the site to regulatory bodies and corporate leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a plant or site management capacity.
- Strong background in the sports nutrition, dietary supplement, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of FDA, GMP, and other relevant compliance and safety standards.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and build a results-oriented culture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience working across time zones and with international teams.
- Financial and analytical acumen with a focus on efficiency, cost management, and strategic planning.
