After three years studying Natural Sciences at the University of Durham, Chris joined THG because he thought it would be an exciting place to work. Two years later, he hasn’t been disappointed. He’s working in an area that he loves as Head of Commercials for ProBikeKit. For Chris, it feels like the perfect fit.

“When I started, it felt like it was just about me getting in a place after graduation, but now it feels like it's really going somewhere”

Where does Chris see THG in the new few years? "Bigger and better". World domination is on a lot of peoples' minds, and he is excited to be a part of it.

“However busy I am, it's never boring. Every day flies by and then you're onto the next one”

As Chris takes on more managerial responsibility, he sees it as essential that he develops the art of being able to manage different people in different roles. Alongside this, he is committed to making sure that his team is equipped to take on the new challenges that the business is facing.

To relax, Chris enjoys getting out on his bike, travelling, Asian and Thai cooking and music of all styles – from Manchester guitar-based, through to classical to chill-out. His advice to any graduate thinking of joining THG is simple: work hard and be ambitious. There are so many opportunities here – but you have got to be able to grasp them for yourself.
