Video Content Manger

Location: Manchester, UK

The role of the Myprotein video content manager will be to create and manage engaging and informative video content for distribution on YouTube and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production, YouTube channel management, as well as experience creating content for the health and fitness industry.


  • Managing and optimising the Myprotein YouTube channel, including uploading videos, creating playlists, and engaging with the community
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement a video content strategy for Myprotein across YouTube, ensuring content is fully optimised for other social platforms
  • Create engaging and informative video content for distribution on YouTube, other social media platforms, app, and site
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to produce video content, ensuring that all content is of high quality, adheres to brand guidelines and industry best practices
  • Work with influencers and other content creators to produce sponsored videos and other branded content
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of video content, using insights to inform future content creation and distribution strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers and content creators in our industry
  • Collaborate with the product development team to create videos showcasing new products and product features
  • Coordinate with the customer service team to respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media and YouTube
  • Developing and maintaining a content calendar to ensure that video content is regularly posted and aligned with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and overseeing the production of video content, including sourcing equipment, hiring and managing crew, and arranging locations and talent
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and scripts for video content
  • Manage the production budget, including tracking costs and ensuring that all expenses are within budget
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and scripts for video content
  • Oversee the shooting and editing of video content, ensuring that it is produced to the highest quality standards


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience creating and managing video content for YouTube and other social media platforms
  • Strong background in video production and editing, including experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the health and fitness industry and a passion for creating engaging content
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
