About the Role
ESPA International is one of the world’s most globally recognised authorities in the Spa Industry operating in over 500 Spas in 55 different countries, since 1992 our ESPA Experts have performed treatments all over the world in some of the best spas and skincare salons.
As the Training Director, you will be responsible for the delivery and development of new innovative treatments in line with the ESPA Global strategy, as an already established expert in your field you will use your experience in product and treatment development to drive our brand ambitions.
You will continuously assess business needs, coordinating program changes with management, and overseeing employee training monitoring industry trends and perform research into training techniques.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating new and innovative global treatments in line with NPD launches.
- Responsible for the execution and roll out of all new treatments to the International training team
- Ensure all ESPA International trainers are at the highest level of training standards.
- Reviewal of all existing treatment protocols working with the commercial team to upgrade and refine based on performance and adjust based on NPD requirements.
- Creation of bespoke treatments for globally recognised partners and the evolution of the ESPA Life concept in partnership with the commercial Heads of Territory.
- Partner with THG Labs on supporting the brand teams on product innovation.
- Partner with THG Labs on the copy and content creation for all new treatments working closely with the Director of Brand Marketing.
- Lead innovation in training through a multi omni channel business.
- Creation of digital assets through at home, in studio and social content channels ensuring we can expand our global reach.
- Keep up to date on treatment trends innovation globally in all territories and an understanding of competitor treatment innovation.
KPI’s
- Creation of treatments partnering with brand, training and finance
- Training our global teams ahead of launch and ensuring the execution of all treatments to the highest standards.
- Creation of all training copy for product and treatment.
- Authoritative technical expert voice for press and industry events.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 year plus proven track record in treatment development and innovation at a senior level.
- Extensive Spa Industry knowledge and background.
- Confident public speaker.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Beauty Therapy trained.
- Extensive Training qualification.
