About the role:
As a Supply Planner at Myprotein, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning function of one of the world's fastest-growing sports nutrition brands. Reporting directly to the Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of products in the right quantities at the right time, contributing to the overall success of the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Logistics, and Procurement, to develop and execute supply plans that meet customer demand and inventory targets.
- Monitor and analyse demand forecasts, sales trends, and inventory levels to optimize replenishment strategies and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Utilize advanced planning tools and systems to create and maintain accurate production schedules, taking into account lead times, production capacities, and distribution requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient procurement of raw materials and components, optimising the end-to-end supply chain.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall performance.
- Collaborate with the Supply Planning Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Provide regular reports and updates on key performance indicators, highlighting areas for improvement and proposing actionable solutions.
- Proactively address supply chain disruptions, communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.

- Degree Qualification: Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Numerical and Reporting Skills: Demonstrate strong numerical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of SQL is desirable.
- Independent and Detail-Oriented: Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of supply planning.
- Supply Chain/Commercial Background: A background in supply chain or commercial operations is desirable, showcasing a solid understanding of the dynamics and challenges within these areas.
- Ecommerce Understanding: An understanding of ecommerce operations is desirable, as it provides valuable context for navigating the unique challenges and opportunities within the sports nutrition industry.
