SEO Manager - Myprotein

Location: THG Nutrition HQ - Manchester Airport (M90 3RR)

THG Nutrition & Wellness are excited to be hiring a SEO Manager. Reporting to the Divisional Head of SEO, the SEO Manager will oversee Myprotein UK & several international sites, supported by a team of SEO Executives.

The SEO Manager will be a key owner in developing and implementing a scalable strategy to significantly improve business KPIs by coordinating SEO efforts, content production, technical audits and oversee product optimizations for SEO.

Responsibilities :

  • Leading a team of SEO Executives, servicing several Myprotein sites.
  • Assist the development and implementation of the SEO strategy for THG sites.
  • Work with the Divisional Head of SEO to develop SEO best practice for the Nutrition sites, lead discussions with internal stakeholders, ensure progress and performance is reported regularly.
  • Setting in place best SEO working practice that other members of the team can use and learn from to develop in their own roles.
  • Support the team with the training and development of colleagues in other countries and other markets.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO industry and news, share knowledge with the SEO team and be a leader within the team.
  • Using your experience, utilise all available data to seek out gaps and new opportunities and formulate this into an executable strategy

Desired Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience (agency or in-house)
  • Analytically minded, experience using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Experience auditing on-site and off-site SEO factors to create effective SEO strategies
  • Experience using SEO tools including or equivalent to ahrefs, Lumar/Deepcrawl, Screaming Frog
  • Experience managing a team, their workflow and assisting in their own professional development
  • Solid technical acumen, displaying familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience integrating SEO with other digital channels i.e. Social and PR (bonus)
  • Ability to define structured plans, clear communication and foster collaboration to ensure timely delivery of work within an ambiguous, fast paced environment.
