The Ingenuity Development team are a fast-paced, forward-thinking team who are responsible for the end-to-end development, operation, and management of multiple distinct estates. From corporate sites, mobile app development, consumer stores to global fulfilment or print on demand - Ingenuity's solution for the SME market, enables businesses of all sizes to grow a professional, scalable online presence easily.

Working as part of the Ingenuity Development core team, you will have the opportunity to influence projects central to THG, its sub divisional units, eco initiatives, and on-demand ecommerce platform. The team is made up of passionate & driven individuals who have freedom to innovate, use the latest technologies and are empowered to make choices to help shape the platform.

As Ingenuity Development is a relatively new function the team is growing rapidly there is plenty of opportunity for progression.

 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who has

• Kubernetes & Docker experience - in particular migration from VM’s to Containers and on-going management and maintenance
• Demonstrable experience deploying and maintaining large-scale, high-availability distributed services
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and observability tools (preferably Nagios)
• Experience in writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in writing infrastructure as code
• Experience with databases (ideally a NoSQL variant)
• Familiarity with best practices, SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience working with offshore/third party partners
• Ability to coach others and distil Devop’s skills into feature teams
• Knowledge and thoughtfulness towards security best practices and overall security posture
