THG Studios is seeking a Reactive Video Editor to join our dynamic team in the Video department, based in Manchester, UK. As a Reactive Video Editor, you'll collaborate closely with other team members to create captivating and responsive content across THG Studios. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for storytelling and a drive to continuously enhance their skills in crafting visually stunning content.

THG Studios, a division of The Hut Group (THG), is at the forefront of creative excellence within the industry. With over 400 talented individuals, we deliver exceptional creative campaigns for THG Brands and THG Ingenuity clients worldwide. Spanning various areas of expertise including Design, Artwork, Video, Photography, 3D, and more, THG Studios operates from state-of-the-art facilities such as ICON, Europe's largest creative studio.

 

About You 

You're a passionate Video Editor with a minimum of 2 years of editing experience, both professionally and personally. Your interests span a wide range of content types, from longer-form social campaigns to short, engaging advertisements. In our fast-paced environment, agility and speed are essential, without compromising on quality. You thrive on feedback and collaboration, constantly seeking ways to enhance your skills and deliver exceptional results.

 

Main Activities and Tasks

  • Collaborate with the team to craft compelling narratives through video editing.
  • Produce reactive content for brands including, events, and social media trends.
  • Offer creative support to colleagues, contributing to the overall success of projects.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Continuously upskill yourself and adapt to new technologies and trends.
  • Adhere to internal processes, meet objectives, and achieve KPIs.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with at least 2 years of experience.

  • Effective communication skills and analytical mindset.
  • Experience collaborating in a team environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Openness to constructive criticism and feedback.
  • Passion for staying updated on industry trends, and editing techniques.
  • Ability to deliver final elements on time in various formats.
