As Project Manager, you’ll: 

  • Lead and manage NPD and EPD projects from ideation through to launch, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. 
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Manage the product lifecycle of both new and existing products, ensuring ongoing improvement and innovation in response to market trends and customer feedback. 
  • Lead sprint activities, hosting daily stand-ups to discuss focus projects, risks, and potential hurdles while driving timely project delivery. 
  • Generate and maintain project reports, conducting risk analysis to recommend corrective actions and ensure clear communication. 
  • Serve as a central point of contact, compiling and organising data across departments to promote communication and effective project tracking. 
  • Provide day-to-day project management support, including training, upskilling, and managing an escalation pathway. 
  • Uphold and continuously improve process standards (e.g. new product development gating processes), consistently identifying areas to streamline and improve time-to-market. 
  • Effectively manage senior stakeholders, ensuring that Senior Team and decision-makers are kept informed and aligned with project progress, timelines, and strategic direction. This includes preparing and presenting clear and concise updates to senior leadership and ensuring that all stakeholders' expectations are met and managed. 

What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • 3+ years experience in a Project Management role within a complex business model, ideally consumer goods industries/ FMCG but not a necessity. 
  • PMP certification or other project management qualifications. 
  • Proven experience managing complex or multiple concurrent projects, ideally having experience with product development lifecycle management, from concept through to completion. 
  • Strong analytical skills for resource allocation and risk assessment. 
  • Demonstrable ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and enhance stakeholder communication. 
  • Experience establishing or refining gating processes, project pathways, or similar frameworks. 
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills, with keen attention to detail. 
  • Ability to train and mentor team members, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment. 
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
