Role: Partnerships Manager Myprotein

Location: Manchester (WA15 0AF)

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Global Partnerships Manager and Head of Partnerships in driving alignment on the strategic approach to Partnerships. They will development commercial strategies and solutions to impact the business, as well as sourcing and establishing new partnerships. They will champion new channel initiatives, working with the Brand team to establish frameworks for success and operate a test and learn approach to help support both Brand and Commercial KPI growth. You will be the driving force behind the THG Nutrition offering, showcasing our breadth of opportunities across the business to potential Partners we identify as future collaborations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Development of new & existing Partnership leads: Securing opportunities with on-brand partnerships, utilising the THG Nutrition business model as a key hook
  • Work globally across our key regions, co-ordinating activations with regional teams and stakeholders
  • Focusing on PRable and Brand lead activations that move the needle from a Brand Health perspective
  • Managing the execution of partnership campaigns – ensuring delivery of contracted obligations
  • Helping to source new brand and commercial opportunities – with a particular focus on key growth markets (i.e. US)
  • Support the launch of NXTGEN student ambassador programmes in new markets (US, DACH, India)
  • Help to develop creative and disruptive brand partnerships and partner campaigns
  • Assist with gym and sports partnerships, managing current relationships and help source new global opportunities
  • Source new partnerships which help us reach the new target demographic – lifestyle and well-being consumers
  • Supporting the annual marketing calendar to reach and resonate with new audiences, utilising partnerships and new channels
  • Driving new business growth cross-channel in line with THG Nutrition’s Gold, Silver and Bronze partnership approach
  • Manage the partnership calendar across the year ensuring that we are planning activations across each quarter
  • Co-ordinate with the Campaign and Brand teams to ensure we have key partners available to tie into overarching campaigns and that any new channel initiatives are complimenting key campaign events where possible
  • Produce case studies that can be shared internally and externally – with award submissions in mind
  • Really understand the THG Nutrition brands: Live the brand in a way we ensure Partners want to join our journey
  • Management of stakeholders both internally and externally, included but not limited to: reporting, contract negotiation, legal signoff, forecasting, deliverables and P&L
  • Success tracking: Working with our internal stakeholders to accurately measure success and relaying back to Partners, showcasing opportunities to scale, striving to move establish partners to bigger and better activations
  • Analysing opportunities and prioritising accordingly based upon business impact
  • Ability to lead conversations with input from the senior stakeholders and the wider business
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Key Skills/Attributes

  • Research – Independently research competitor and market trends to identify relevant opportunities across the divisions
  • Outreach – Confidence in approaching partners, agencies and 3rd parties to source insights, commercials and data to present back to internal stakeholders
  • Present creative, solution based packs/bundles of activity that are market leading.
  • Project Management – Understand the lifecycle for a marketing campaign and manage clients through the pipeline.
  • International Experience – Experience in working across multiple countries, understanding consumer and market intricacies
  • Commercial negotiation – Deal closing and negotiation skills. The role will involve commercial negotiation and legal contract negotiation. Proven closing skills are a requirement.
  • Reporting and Forecasting – delivery of accurate sales forecasts and reports as required by senior stakeholders and finance.
  • Successful track record in D2C, Sports Nutrition, Retail or similar background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
