About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Shared Services, the MasterData Manager is accountable for the transactional delivery of THG master data activities, identifying, assessing and managing financial risks as necessary so that any changes across all systems are handled following the necessary anti-fraud controls and in compliance with internal and external audit requirements
The Master Data Manager is responsible for a team of Master Data associates and ensures that all processes and controls related to data maintenance are reviewed regularly to achieve operational efficiently and ensure that the agreed SLA's are met.
The role is cross-functional with P2P, OTC, Procurement, Sales, Commercial Finance, other THG internal functions and requires the ability to support key business projects with impact on the wider business.
Performance Delivery
- Management of group master data including and not limited to Suppliers and Customers creation and maintenance, data cleanse, sales and purchasing MD hierarchies, material codes creations and amendments.
- Ensure work instructions and workflows are in place for all processes, maintained and kept up to date with business
- changes
- Work closely with business partners and other functions to ensure the smooth functioning of group masterdata
- Support internal and external audit processes and keep abreast with changes in legislation and anti fraud regulations
- Act as process owner and ensure full adherence to the internal control framework
- Support the implementation of new technologies and/or system changes
- Coach, train, develop, encourage and motivate the team
- Foster relationship with internal stakeholders ensuring processes are in place to monitor performance vs agreed SLA's
Role Requirements
- A high volume shared service environment would be desirable
- Proven track record of high performance and process improvement delivery
- Instil a responsive 'right first time' approach
- Demonstrable experience of supporting new technologies and/or system changes
This role will be based out of our Manchester Airport offices. Whilst we do offer hybrid working, you would be required to attend the office at least 3 days a week.
