 *Please note* This role is available to be based in Manchester or London, however Manchester would be preferred so the successful candidate can commute into the office at least once a week. It will be hybrid working as international travel will be required across EMEA region.

About the role

The International Education Manager role supports brand awareness and sales growth through education, events and coaching. Responsible for the product and brand knowledge of employees and partners. This role creates and drives engaging education programs across the business touch points.  Working with marketing to introduce new product innovation education and awareness, as well as leading in-store and partner product events.  This role requires market and category knowledge as well as a passionate and engaging style that represents the brand philosophy.

Reporting to the International General Manager Perricone MD based in the UK, you will also have a doted line into the Global Education Director who is based in the USA. The role requires international travel, with a based in Manchester UK.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive all actions to ensure they support the brand in achieving its sales & profit goals
  • Review training activities and events & assess ROI, make proposals for how to improve impact for the future
  • Manage & record product, travel and expenses budgets effectively, identifying ways to improve profitability
  • Analyse new launches results, highlighting wins & learns with recommendations for the future
  • Gather market & product insights from the teams and networks whilst personally reviewing activities and products of the competition. 
  • Offer creative solutions to the business when faced with specific challenges
  • Establish and maintain relationships with corporate education partners and stakeholders to deliver on expectations
  • Communicate monthly with stakeholders to discuss brand & individual performance and initiatives to achieve sales objectives
  • Identify the needs and work on execution of Sales & Education initiatives with Marketing, Product Development, Operations and Finance
  • Design and execute training modules for innovations and or focus products
  • Assist the marketing team with sell sheets and updating the Global Education Director
  • Create event ideas for all new innovations and or focus products
  • Social media savvy, film for social posts.

 

Education & Training

  • Create & drive annual International education calendar aligning with the Brand marketing and sales activity plans.
  • Work with channel leads to be clear on business needs and collaborate to create an effective training plan for each partner and/or region.
  • Consider best ways to conduct training/ workshops and use most relevant forms of technology
  • Demonstrate an understanding of each market and an awareness of cultural differences and sensitivities and include this in any training materials
  • Plan, Coach and Develop UK Retail teams career paths and knowledge
  • Improve service & selling skills as well as product knowledge
  • Create a training matrix by channel/ person and update in real time.
  • Create an online feedback process, evaluate results and implement recommendations
  • Lead by example

 

Marketing & New Product Development

  • Brand Expert that liaises with Marketing, Sales, PR and Digital channels to offer quotes, knowledge & advice
  • Work with Trade Marketing to create appropriate materials for NPD launch
  • Work with International Marketing team to ensure regional NPD launch is of an exemplary quality
  • Plan in NPD training well in advance to engage teams ahead of time and ensure maximum impact of launches
  • Plan & host an instore or online event
  • Act as virtual consultation lead with Digital team

  • NPD launches achieving forecasted sell out
  • Customer acquisition targets met at instore and external events
  • Team product knowledge through learn and confirm
  • After training Net Promoter Score

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years sales, marketing or training operations experience
  • Bilingual skills beneficial
  • Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced PowerPoint
  • Passion for beauty
  • Strong organisational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
