Why be an Ecommerce Manager at THG?

The Ecommerce Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual that can bring fresh and innovative thinking to the Ireland locale at LOOKFANTASTIC and play a key part in driving the region forward. The responsibility for the planning & delivery of ecommerce activations and performance for Ireland will sit with the Ecommerce Manager, and supported by the Head of Ecommerce, will rely on their ability to assess the market, be reactive to competitors and align marketing, trading and creative plans.

 

As an Ecommerce Manager you'll:

  • Identify new and innovative ways to drive traffic to the site as well as developing and improving traffic from existing channels, highlighting likeness and points of difference between .ie and .com.
  • Monitor key site metrics including GP, Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, AOV, Exit Rates, Traffic (new and returning) etc.
  • Use initiatives to drive brand awareness in the Irish market through campaigns, digital marketing channels, working closely with the brand comms planning team.
  • Use analytics tools such a GA and ContentSquare, and our in-house reporting platforms to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey to optimise sales, measure performance & inform planning and activation strategy.
  • Work with the Head of Ecommerce to develop and plan the regional strategy and trading calendars whilst working with the marketing teams on driving junior team execution.
  • Work in synergy with marketing channel leads to identify new growth opportunities and ways in which to improve our brand reputation and presence & drive new customer acquisition at the lowest cost possible.

 

What Skills and Experience Do I Need?

  • Commercially astute, ambitious and driven.
  • Experience of managing budgets, trading calendars, sales forecasts and marketing channel traffic overviews.
  • Data confidence – strong ability to analyse, manipulate and present data, using insights to inform actions.
  • Manages their time efficiently, enjoys problem solving and finding effective yet scalable solutions.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • Strong communication skills; has worked as part of a wider team and has experience in managing and developing a junior team.
  • Growth mindset - those able to think outside the box best suited to a growing region and agile environment with responsibility for key decision making.
