Job purpose:

Arrow Films are looking for a passionate Designer to work chiefly across our upcoming Home Entertainment Film and TV release slate, and to also be across some elements of our Brand Marketing strategies over our various Labels and Channels. A leading independent entertainment distribution company, Arrow Films now releases in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, USA and Canada, and is dedicated to supporting upcoming and established filmmakers of dynamic and bold cinema across our main Arrow Video and Arrow Academy labels. With a view to a focus primarily across our upcoming product, the successful candidate will work within the Marketing department to assist in the development of visually engaging content and marketing materials such as print ads, key art and promotional materials and assisting with the layout of our physical release sleeves and packages.

Key responsibilities:

§ Creating and producing graphic design work across the Arrow estate. § Ability to multitask effectively and work on multiple projects at once and hit deadlines § Working with key internal stakeholders to plan out projects and the desired approach. § Creating assets in multiple formats to cover the whole release lifecycle - including theatrical, home entertainment and digital and organic and paid social campaigns. § Developing bespoke content for international festivals and events, SVOD services and other key contacts § Working with key departmental stakeholders to ensure all content is supplied in created in the correct format and presentation and adheres to specific specs and grids § Adapting existing assets for social, PR and marketing purposes § Ad hoc assistance across marketing departments including Club Cinema initiative, events, social media and general marketing duties.

 


Qualifications & experience required:

§ Strong knowledge of Adobe creative suite § Experience working in a Design or Marketing focused role within the Home Entertainment or film sector. § Knowledge and experience delivering marketing materials across multiple platforms including theatrical, digital and print § Strong knowledge across the Microsoft Office suite of applications, and familiarity with internal communication and planning systems such as Teams and / or Asana. § Experience in video editing is desired but not essential

Personal attributes:

· Extremely well organised and a proven efficient manner of working practice. · A very strong eye for detail · A self starter with strong communication skills. · The ability to build strong relationships with the wider team and licensors, filmmakers and third-parties where required · The ability to generate and present new ideas that fit within the current brand guidelines and company vision · A solid understanding of the Home Entertainment industry, and familiarity with Arrow products. · Passionate about film and television, in particular to independent genre and arthouse content. · A positive and friendly attitude with a keen sense of humour.
