These people are integral to the smooth running of the business; ensuring everyone is paid on time, that materials are sourced and arrive promptly, that we meet our legal obligations and that our health, safety, and security is safeguarded. 

About the Facilities Department and the Role

The Facilities team is responsible for maintaining all THG sites, ensuring that all colleagues and visitors are in a clean, safe environment while on site.

As a Cleaner you will perform day to day cleaning tasks across this location.


  • In accordance with the cleaning specification clean all centre areas including: offices, rooms, stores, toilets, restaurant, showers, shower areas, stairs, landing, corridors, receptions and all furniture and fittings contained in these areas. Duties to include: wet mop, dry mop, vacuum, sweep, buff, spot clean, wipe, clean, wash, sanitise, scrub, dust, etc.
  • Replenish paper towels, soap, toilet paper, bin liners.
  • Use machines, tools, equipment and materials as necessary.
  • Empty all litter bins, into appropriate containers, remove to dustbin compound.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer care is achieved at all times.
  • Training is an essential part of the post and requires all employees to attend regular training courses when arranged.
  • Cover for the other Cleaners during holidays and sickness.
  • Carry out any other duties that are within the scope and grading of the post which could also be requested by the management of the club

  • Proven experience working as part of a successful team with excellent interpersonal skills
